After receiving an MFA in Theatre from Columbia University School of the Arts, Myra performed extensively as an actress in both New York and in Regional theaters across the country.
As a director, she has staged over 100 theatrical productions; as an acting coach she has worked with award winning actors both in the US and Hong Kong. She is the author of the book The New Couple: Women and Gay Men, published by Playboy Press.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Myra has shown up on both the small and large screens and has kissed George Clooney (on ER), been kissed by Clint Eastwood (in Flags of Our Fathers) and, put Jerry and his friends in jail (on Seinfeld). Myra also created the role of Katherine Olsen on “Mad Men” for which she received a SAG Award for Best Ensemble Acting.
